William Louis Hudson Jr. (born October 17, 1949) is an American musician and actor. He was a singer in a band called The Hudson Brothers. He started this band in 1965 with his two younger brothers, Brett and Mark. Later, he also had a short career as an actor. He appeared in movies like Zero to Sixty (1978) and Big Shots (1987). He also had a role in the TV show Doogie Howser, M.D..

Early Life and Family
Bill Hudson was born in Portland, Oregon. He grew up there as the oldest of three sons. His younger brothers are Brett and Mark Hudson. Their mother was Eleanor Hudson, and their father was William Louis Hudson. Bill's mother had Italian family roots.
When Bill was about six years old, his father left the family. His mother worked hard to support her children. Bill and his brothers were raised in the Catholic faith.
Music and Acting Career
Bill Hudson was the main singer for The Hudson Brothers band. They were popular in the 1970s.
As an actor, Bill appeared in the movie Big Shots in 1987. He also played a role in three episodes of the TV series Doogie Howser, M.D. between 1989 and 1992.
In December 2011, Bill Hudson released a book about his life. It was called Two Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family.
Personal Life and Family
Bill Hudson married actress Goldie Hawn in 1976. They had two children together, a son named Oliver and a daughter named Kate. They divorced in 1982. After their divorce, Oliver and Kate were raised by their mother and Kurt Russell.
In 2015, Oliver Hudson made a public statement about his father. Bill Hudson then shared his feelings, saying he felt he had been kept from his children over the years.
Bill Hudson later married Cindy Williams. They had two children together. They divorced in 2000. In 2006, Bill had another daughter with his girlfriend at the time, Caroline Graham.
In 2018, Bill's son Oliver shared that he and his father had started talking again. They had not been close for many years.
Bill Hudson also supported Democratic politician Michael Dukakis when he ran for president in 1988.
