Goldie Hawn (born November 21, 1945) is a famous American actress. She became well-known on the TV comedy show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (1968–1970). She even won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for her role in the movie Cactus Flower (1969).
Goldie Hawn starred in many popular films. Some of these include Butterflies Are Free (1972), The Sugarland Express (1974), and Private Benjamin (1980). For Private Benjamin, she was nominated for another Academy Award. Later, she appeared in movies like Overboard (1987), Death Becomes Her (1992), and The First Wives Club (1996). Goldie Hawn is the mother of actors Oliver Hudson, Kate Hudson, and Wyatt Russell. She has been in a long-term relationship with actor Kurt Russell since 1983. In 2003, she started the Hawn Foundation. This organization helps children by providing special education programs.
Early Life and Dance Beginnings
Goldie Hawn was born in Washington, D.C.. Her mother, Laura, owned a jewelry shop and dance school. Her father, Edward, was a musician. Goldie was named after her mother's aunt. She has one sister, Patti Hawn, who works in entertainment.
Goldie's father was of German and English background. Her mother was Jewish, from Hungary. Goldie was raised Jewish in Takoma Park, Maryland. She went to Montgomery Blair High School.

In 2013, Goldie Hawn was a guest voice on an episode of Phineas and Ferb. In 2017, she returned to the big screen in the comedy Snatched. She played the mother of Amy Schumer's character. In 2018, Goldie made a special appearance as Mrs. Claus in the Netflix movie The Christmas Chronicles. Goldie Hawn has been in a relationship with actor Kurt Russell since 1983. They first met in 1967 while filming a movie. They became a couple after working together again on the movie Swing Shift.
