William John Gordon (born around 1973 – 25 November 2022) was an Australian politician. He was an Indigenous Australian who served in the Queensland Legislative Assembly. This is like the state parliament in Queensland, Australia. He represented the area called Cook from 2015 to 2017.

Billy Gordon's Political Journey
Billy Gordon started his political career in his home town of Innisfail, Queensland. He first tried to become a federal politician in 2013. This means he ran for a seat in Australia's national parliament. He was a candidate for the Labor Party. He ran in the area known as Leichhardt. He did not win this election.
Becoming a State Politician
