About Bita Fayyazi's Art
Bita Fayyazi has worked with art for over 15 years. She is very skilled in ceramics (making art from clay) and sculpture (creating 3D artworks). Some of her ceramic pieces are called "dark ceramics" because of the serious topics they explore.
Bita Fayyazi lived in England for seven years. She came back to Iran in 1980.
Exhibitions and Famous Art Shows
Bita Fayyazi's art has been shown in many important places around the world. In 2005, she took part in the Iranian section of the 51st Venice Biennale. The Venice Biennale is a very famous international art exhibition held in Italy.
Her work has also been displayed in other well-known galleries and museums. These include Espace Louis Vuitton in Paris (in 2008 and 2010), the Museum of Modern Art in Freiburg (in 2007), and the Pergamon Museum in Berlin (in 2008).
She also showed her art in two group exhibitions at the Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery in Paris. One of these was called "Be Crowned with Laurel in Oblivion" in 2010, where she exhibited alongside Ramin and Rokni Haerizadeh. Another project she was part of was called the "Stock Exchange of Visions" in 2007.
