About Bita Fayyazi
Bita Fayyazi has worked with ceramics and sculpture for over 15 years. Many of her ceramic artworks are called "dark ceramics." This is because of the serious topics they explore. She lived in England for seven years. In 1980, she returned to Iran.
Exhibitions and Art Shows
Bita Fayyazi's art has been shown in many important places. In 2005, she took part in the Iranian Pavilion at the 51st Venice Biennale. This is a very famous art event.
Her art has also been shown in Paris, France, at Espace Louis Vuitton in 2008 and 2010. She also had exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in Freiburg in 2007. In 2008, her work was shown at the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.
She has also been part of group shows. These include exhibitions at the Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery in Paris. One show was called "Be Crowned with Laurel in Oblivion" in 2010. She worked with artists Ramin and Rokni Haerizadeh for this show. She also participated in the Stock Exchange of Visions project in 2007.
