Björn Gösta Tryggve Granath (born April 5, 1946 – died February 5, 2017) was a Swedish actor. He appeared in more than 100 films and TV shows during his career.
Björn Granath was born in Örgryte, a part of Gothenburg, Sweden. He was known for playing many different kinds of characters. He could be funny in comedies and serious in dramas.
From 1987 to 2007, he worked as an actor and director at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. This is a very famous theatre in Sweden. Before he passed away, he was going to play the role of Buckingham in a play called Richard III. He had acted in this same play before in 2014, and it was very popular.
Björn Granath was married to Ann-Margreth Fyrgård. They had two children together.
