Black Cat Detective (traditional Chinese: 黑貓警長; simplified Chinese: 黑猫警长; pinyin: Hēimāo Jǐngzhǎng) is a super cool Chinese cartoon series! It was made by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. Sometimes, people call the show Mr. Black. The main hero, Black Cat Detective, was created by a talented person named Zhu Zhixiang.
About the Show
This awesome cartoon first aired on TV from 1984 to 1987. It became very popular! Later, in June 2006, the original series was shown again for new fans to enjoy. A movie based on the series, called Mr. Black: Green Star, even came out in Chinese movie theaters in 2015.
The Story of Black Cat Detective
The adventures of Black Cat Detective happen in a big, busy forest. Our hero, the Black Cat Detective, rides around on his motorcycle. He's always on the lookout for trouble! His main job is to stop bad guys and solve mysteries. He often has to deal with tricky mice and other characters who cause problems in the forest.
The First Series (1984)
The very first Black Cat Detective cartoon was made in 1984. It was produced by the famous Shanghai Animation Film Studio. The show was directed by Dai Tielang. He also designed the look of the main character, Black Cat Detective! This first series had five episodes. Each episode was about 20 minutes long, full of action and mystery.
