Blackfoot High School is a public high school located in Blackfoot, Idaho. It serves students in grades 9 through 12. This school is the main high school for the Blackfoot School District #55.

History of Blackfoot High
Blackfoot High School first opened its doors in the early 1890s. The building used today was built in the 1950s. Over the years, it has been updated with new parts.
In the mid-1990s, a new science wing was added. Then, in the early 2000s, the school got a new auditorium and a new gym. The school also has sports fields and a special area for fine arts.
In 2012, Blackfoot High School started offering classes in the Shoshoni language. This helps students learn about the local Native American culture.
Sports and Teams
Blackfoot High School is known for its sports teams, called the Broncos. They compete in the IHSAA Class 4A. This is the second-highest level for high school sports in Idaho.
The Broncos are part of the High Country Conference. They play against other schools like Rigby and Bonneville. Their traditional rival is Snake River High School.
Football Success
The Blackfoot Broncos football team has won several state championships. They won the 4A state title in 2007, 2009, 2011, and 2012. This shows they were one of the top teams in the state for many years.
