Blackfoot High School is a public high school in Blackfoot, Idaho. It's the only traditional high school in the Blackfoot School District #55. Students from grades 9 through 12 attend this school. The school's motto is Learn, Achieve, Succeed.

A Look Back: Blackfoot High's History

Blackfoot High School first opened its doors in the early 1890s. The main building you see today was built in the 1950s. Over the years, the school has been updated. In the mid-1990s, a new science wing was added. In the early 2000s, a new auditorium and a new gym were built. The school is right next to Stoddard Elementary. It has full athletic fields and a special wing for fine arts. In 2012, Blackfoot High School started offering classes to learn the Shoshoni language.

Blackfoot High School competes in sports through the IHSAA. They are in Class 4A, which is the second-highest level in the state. Blackfoot is part of the High Country Conference (4A). They compete against schools like Rigby and Bonneville. The football team had a great run, winning the 4A state title in 2012. This was their third state title in just four years!
