Blanco (Spanish: "white", /ˈblæŋk/ BLANG-koh) is a city in rural Blanco County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,682 at the 2020 census. Blanco is a cattle and ranching community.

Geography

Blanco is located in the Texas Hill Country on the Blanco River.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.4 km2), of which 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2), or 1.99%, is water.
