The Blue River is a cool stream that flows for about 50.8-mile (81.8 km) (around 82 kilometers) through the amazing Apache–Sitgreaves National Forests in Arizona, USA. This river starts its journey near a town called Alpine. From there, it travels south until it joins the San Francisco River, not far from Clifton. The Blue River changes quite a bit in height, starting high up at about 6,400 feet (2,000 m) (1,950 meters) and ending lower at about 4,000 feet (1,200 m) (1,220 meters).

The Blue River is a great place for fishing and is home to several types of fish. If you visit, you might find:
