Boada de Campos is a small town, or municipality, in Spain. It is located in the Palencia province, within the Castile and León region. This area is part of a larger flat land called Tierra de Campos.
In 2004, only 22 people lived here. By 2018, the population had become even smaller, with just 17 residents. This makes Boada de Campos one of the least populated places in Spain.
Discovering Boada de Campos's Nature
Boada de Campos is a special place for nature lovers. It is part of a larger area that protects many kinds of birds. This protected zone is called a Special Protection Area.
Birdwatching at Laguna de Boada
One of the most interesting spots is the Laguna de Boada. This is a restored wetland, which means it was once a natural marshy area that was brought back to life. It is a fantastic place for bird-watchers. Many different kinds of waterfowl (birds that live near water) come here to spend the winter. It is a great chance to see them up close!
