Boban Rajović was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. His parents had moved there from Berane, a town in Montenegro. When he was 19 years old, Boban started singing. He performed in cafés in countries like Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. These cafés were often owned by people from Yugoslavia.
In 2000, Boban moved to Belgrade, Serbia. He moved there to record his very first music album. He has continued to live in Belgrade ever since. His family celebrates a special tradition called slava, honoring Saint Basil of Ostrog.
