Bodcaw is a small town located in Nevada County, Arkansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 121 people lived there. It is part of the larger Hope area.

History of Bodcaw
People started claiming land in the Bodcaw area in the 1850s. A post office and a place for stagecoaches to stop were set up in 1878. By 1890, there were businesses and factories in the area. A Baptist school called the 'Bodcaw Academy' was also built.
A strong storm called a tornado damaged the Bodcaw Academy in 1915. It was never rebuilt. In 1941, all the public schools in the area joined together at Bodcaw. Later, these schools became part of the Nevada School District in Rosston.
The post office in Bodcaw closed in 1959. However, in 1969, the town officially became a town. This helped it provide important services to the people living there.
Like many small towns, Bodcaw's population slowly became smaller. This happened as people moved to bigger towns with better transportation. By 2016, there were only a few shops left in Bodcaw. The main jobs in the area included working for the Nevada School District. People also worked in timber, raising cattle and chickens, mining, and producing oil and gas.

Public Schools
Students in Bodcaw attend public schools run by the Nevada School District. This district helps students from kindergarten all the way through high school. They graduate from Nevada High School.
As of 2014–2015, the school district covers a large area of about 345 square miles (894 square kilometers). It serves over 400 students. More than 80 teachers and staff work at its two schools and offices.

- Nevada High School, for students from grade 7 to grade 12.
On July 1, 1985, the Bodcaw School District joined with the Nevada County School District.
