Bokeem Woodbine (born April 13, 1973) is an American actor. He is known for playing many different characters in movies and TV shows. Some of his most famous roles include Mike Milligan in the TV series Fargo, Herman Schultz/Shocker in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and a saxophonist named David "Fathead" Newman in the movie Ray.
Early Life and School
Bokeem Woodbine was born in Harlem, New York City, on April 13, 1973. He went to the Dalton School for a while. Later, he transferred to the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. This school is famous for teaching students about music, art, and acting.
Acting Career Highlights
Bokeem Woodbine started his acting journey on TV in 1993. His first big role was in a TV movie called Strapped. After that, he worked with some well-known directors. He appeared in movies like Crooklyn (1994), Panther (1995), and Dead Presidents (1995).
In 1996, Bokeem became friends with the famous rapper Tupac Shakur. They even worked together in Tupac's music video for "I Ain't Mad at Cha". They also starred in a movie called Gridlock'd.
