Bokul Kotha (Bengali: বকুল কথা) is a popular Indian Bengali TV show. It started on December 4, 2017. You can watch it on Zee Bangla from Monday to Saturday at 9:00 PM. The main actors in the show are Ushashi Roy and Honey Bafna. Bokul Kotha became very popular quickly. It even had a high TRP (Television Rating Point) of 11.2 in June 2018. This made it one of the top-rated Bengali TV shows at that time.

About the Story of Bokul Kotha
Bokul Kotha tells the interesting story of a girl named Bokul. She grew up almost like a boy. Her family raised her to be strong and independent. Bokul is a tomboy. She likes to wear pants and shirts. She also has short hair. Unlike many girls her age, she doesn't spend time on makeup or fancy clothes.
Bokul's Family Life
Bokul wants to be a big help to her father. But then, something sad happens. Her father passes away. This means Bokul has to take charge of her family. She becomes the main support for them. Bokul herself is not interested in getting married. However, her mother and grandmother worry about her future. They want her to find a husband.
Rishi's Journey and Their Match
Then there's Rishi, the main male character. His family always listens to their family guru, an astrologer. Rishi can only marry a girl whose birth chart matches his. He is very picky. He has already said no to 40 different women! But then, fate steps in. His birth chart finally matches with Bokul's.
An Unexpected Marriage
After a lot of drama and confusion, Bokul and Rishi get married. They are a very mismatched couple. Bokul is not like a typical housewife. She isn't keen on learning traditional ways. The show explores how these two different people live together. It shows their journey as they try to understand each other.
