Ushasi has also started acting in web series. Her first web series role was 'Brinda' in Turu Love on Hoichoi. She also made her movie debut as Lakshmi in Iskaboner Rani. Ushasi Ray began her acting career in 2015. Her first big role was in the popular Star Jalsha show Milon Tithi. She played the main character opposite actor Jeetu Kamal.

After that, she had a small role in the detective show Jai Kali Kalkattawali. She then got another main role in the highly-rated Zee Bangla show Bokul Kotha. In this show, she starred with Honey Bafna. She also played the main character in Zee Bangla's Kadambini. Her first movie was "Ishkaboner Rani". She also started acting in web series with "Turu Love". Ushasi appeared in two more web series: Byomkesh season 7 (Chorabali) and Rudrabinar Obhishaap. Her web series Sundarban er Vidyasagar was a special project. Her most recent web series is Gobhir Jwoler Maach.
