Bonny Lakes are two small, beautiful ponds high up in the mountains of Northeastern Oregon, United States. They are found in a huge, open field called the Bonny Lakes basin, which is part of the amazing Eagle Cap Wilderness. These two lakes are quite high up, sitting at about 7,840 feet (2,390 meters) above sea level. This makes them one of the highest lakes in the entire Eagle Cap Wilderness!

Bonny Lakes are a great spot for adventurers who love nature. They are located on Aneroid Mountain, not too far from another lake called Dollar Lake.
How to Reach the Lakes
You can get to Bonny Lakes by hiking along a special path called Trail 1802. There are two main starting points, or "trailheads," for this adventure:
- The Wallowa Lake Trailhead: This path is about 10 miles long.
- The Tenderfoot Trailhead: This path is shorter, about 3.5 miles long.
