Rejean "Boogie" Ellis (born December 12, 2000) is an American professional basketball player. He plays as a point guard or shooting guard for the Noblesville Boom in the NBA G League. Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for the Memphis Tigers and the USC Trojans.

Boogie Ellis's Early Life and High School Basketball

Boogie Ellis grew up in San Diego, California. He attended Mission Bay High School for all four years of his high school education. During his time there, he became a very talented basketball player.

Becoming a Top College Recruit

After high school, Boogie was considered one of the best young basketball players in the country. Many colleges wanted him to play for their teams. He was known as a "four-star recruit," which means he was highly rated by experts.

On November 9, 2018, Boogie first decided to play college basketball for Duke University. However, he later changed his mind. He wanted to be the main point guard for his team. When another talented player, Tre Jones, decided to return to Duke, Boogie felt it might affect his playing time.

So, on May 13, 2019, Boogie Ellis chose to play for the University of Memphis. This was a big decision for his basketball future.
