Boomerang is a TV channel in Asia that shows cartoons. It's owned by AT&T's WarnerMedia. This channel is like the original Boomerang in the United States. It started as a special block of shows on Cartoon Network from 2001 to 2005. Then, in September 2005, it became its own TV channel.
In December 2012, the channel stopped broadcasting. It was replaced by another channel called Toonami. But don't worry, Boomerang came back! It was relaunched on January 1, 2015. This was part of a big worldwide change for Boomerang channels. When it came back, it took the place of the Cartoonito channel.
As of December 2020, you can watch Boomerang on Astro, which is a satellite TV provider in Malaysia.
