Baby Looney Tunes is a fun animated TV show. It shows famous Looney Tunes characters when they were toddlers and preschoolers! The show was made by Warner Bros. Animation. It teaches kids about real-life things like sharing, understanding feelings, and playing nicely with others.

At first, the Looney Tunes babies live with Granny. But in the fourth season, Granny's nephew, Floyd, becomes their babysitter. The show first aired on June 3, 2001. It was on WB stations until 2003. Then it moved to Cartoon Network in 2004 and ended on October 16, 2006. There were 53 episodes in total.

In 2003, some puppet movies were made for very young children. These were called Baby Looney Tunes: Musical Adventures and Baby Looney Tunes: Backyard Adventures. They used the same voice actors as the TV show. While they weren't released on DVD, Baby Looney Tunes: Musical Adventures can now be watched on HBO Max.

Meet the Baby Looney Tunes!

This section introduces the main characters of the show.

Main Characters

  • Baby Bugs – He is the oldest of the babies. This makes him their leader. Sometimes, his leadership causes small arguments, especially with Lola and Daffy.
  • Baby Tweety – A small yellow canary. He is the youngest and smallest of the group. Tweety is very clever and often comes up with ideas when no one else can. He sometimes feels sensitive about being so small.
  • Baby Daffy – He is the second in charge after Bugs. Daffy often wants things for himself. If he doesn't get his way, he feels it's unfair. But he usually means well. He is afraid of robots and can be a bit jealous of Bugs.
  • Baby Lola – Sometimes, Lola likes to take charge. She is very independent. She also enjoys playing games that are often seen as more "boyish" than the other girls.
  • Baby Taz – Taz is usually well-behaved. But he often mistakes different objects for food. He sometimes breaks things when he spins around. He loves to have fun more than anyone else.
  • Baby Sylvester – A tuxedo cat who is often shy and worried. Daffy sometimes tricks him easily. Sylvester rarely uses his claws. He loves getting attention from Granny. He is afraid of lightning and dislikes pickles.
  • Baby Melissa – She often stays with Petunia. They joined the main group early in the second season. Melissa is very creative and friendly. But sometimes she likes to be in control, which can annoy the others.
  • Baby Petunia – She also often stays with Melissa. Petunia is smarter than the other babies. She is always curious about new things. In one episode, she learned to save money in a piggy bank.
  • Granny – She is the kind adult who takes care of the babies. The babies look up to her. They are amazed by her wisdom and how she solves problems easily. Granny is fair, practical, and a bit old-fashioned.
  • Floyd Minton – Granny's nephew. He becomes the babies' babysitter in Season 4. Sometimes, taking care of the babies can be a lot of work for him. But he always tries his best for Granny.
