Brian Drummond (born August 10, 1969) is a Canadian voice actor. He is known for giving voices to many characters in animated shows and video games. He often plays characters who are strong leaders or sometimes villains. Brian works in Vancouver, Canada.

Brian's Journey in Voice Acting

Brian Drummond was born in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. He first trained as a theatre actor. But soon, he found his passion in voice acting and started doing it full-time. He has voiced characters in many popular animated shows.

Famous Voice Roles

Brian is very well known for voicing characters like Vegeta, Yajirobe, and Vegito in the English version of the anime series Dragon Ball Z. He also voiced Ryuk in Death Note. You might also recognize his voice as Renkotsu in Inuyasha and Zechs Merquise in Gundam Wing.

He also voiced Cyclops in the first episode of X-Men: Evolution. Later, another actor took over the role.

In 2003, Brian voiced Kurt Wylde in the animated movie Hot Wheels: World Race. He played Kurt again in the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers film series.

From 2006 to 2008, he was the voice of Ork Warboss Gorgutz in the video game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and its expansion packs.

Recently, he voiced a cloned version of Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super. This was special because he worked alongside Christopher Sabat, who also voices Vegeta in another English version of Dragon Ball.

The "It's Over 9000!" Meme

Brian Drummond voiced the famous line "It's Over 9000!" as Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z. This line appeared in an episode that first aired in 1997. In 2006, Brian's way of saying this line became a very popular internet meme.

Brian's Family Life

Brian is married to Laura Drummond, who is also a voice actress. They have three children: a son named Aidan (born 1995) and two daughters, Brynna (born 1997) and Ashlyn. All three of his children have also started doing voice-over work, just like their parents!

His daughter Brynna voiced Babs Seed in the TV series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, a show where Brian also has roles. His son Aidan voiced Marty, the main character in the animated series Eon Kid.
