Dinotrux is an exciting American-Canadian computer-animated TV series. It's based on a popular book series by Chris Gall. The show takes you to a prehistoric world filled with amazing creatures.
These creatures are special because they are half dinosaur and half construction vehicle. Imagine a T-Rex mixed with an excavator! There are also smaller creatures called Reptools. They are part reptile and part mechanic's tool. The series first aired on Netflix on August 14, 2015. Later seasons, starting November 10, 2017, were called Dinotrux Supercharged.

What is Dinotrux About?
The story of Dinotrux happens in a time called the Mechazoic era. This world is home to Dinotrux and Reptools. The main characters are Ty, a good T-Trux, and his best friend Revvit, a Reptool.
Ty and Revvit team up with other friends to protect their home. They also work together to build things. Their biggest challenge is fighting against the evil T-Trux named D-Structs. Dinotrux and Reptools help each other in a special way. For example, big Ty keeps small Revvit safe. In return, Revvit fixes Ty when he needs repairs.

The world of Dinotrux is full of unique characters. Each one is a mix of a dinosaur and a machine.
Main Dinotrux Characters
- Ty (voiced by Andrew Francis) is the brave leader of the Dinotrux. He is a red Tyrannosaurus Trux. This means he's part Tyrannosaurus rex and part giant excavator.
- Dozer (voiced by Brian Drummond) is a yellow Dozeratops. He's a mix of a Triceratops and a bulldozer. Dozer can be grumpy but is a loyal friend.
- Ton-Ton (voiced by Matt Hill) is a blue Ankylodump. He's part Ankylosaurus and part dump truck. Ton-Ton loves action and is always ready for adventure.
- Skya (voiced by Ashleigh Ball) is an orange Craneosaur. She's a strong mix of a Brachiosaurus and a construction crane. Skya is tough and smart.
- Garby (voiced by Trevor Devall) is a green Stegarbasaurus. He's part Stegosaurus and part garbage truck. Garby enjoys eating rocks and can even shoot spikes!
Main Reptool Characters
- Revvit (voiced by Richard Ian Cox) is a yellow and green Rotilian Reptool. He's Ty's best friend. Revvit is part lizard and part rotary drill. His tongue works like a tape measure.
- Ace (voiced by Cree Summer) is a silver and blue Monkey Wrench Reptool. She's part lizard and part monkey wrench. Ace is known for being a bit hot-headed.
- Waldo (voiced by Doron Bell Jr.) is a red Pipe Wrench Reptool. He's part lizard and part pipe wrench.
- Click-Clack (voiced by Fred Ewanuick) is an orange Rotilian Reptool. He's a lizard, like a chameleon, mixed with a rotary drill.
- Xee (voiced by Heather Doerksen) is a crescent wrenchtool Reptool. She used to be on her own before joining Ty's group.
- Buzz is a green Rotilian Reptool. He's part lizard and part rotary drill, similar to Revvit.
- Bindy is a silver and blue Monkey Wrench Reptool. She's part lizard and part monkey wrench, like Ace.
- Grouter is a blue Pipe Wrench Reptool. He's part lizard and part pipe wrench, like Waldo.
Villain Characters
- D-Structs (voiced by Paul Dobson) is a white and black Tyrannosaurus Trux. He's part Tyrannosaurus and part excavator. D-Structs is the main bad guy and wants to rule the crater.
- D-Stroy (voiced by Brian Dobson) is D-Structs's older brother. He is very smart and tricky.
- Skrap-It (voiced by Trevor Devall) is a steel-colored Scraptool. He's part lizard and part welding torch. Skrap-It is forced to work for D-Structs.
Other Characters
- George (voiced by Brian Drummond) is a Dozeratops. He has a calm and peaceful way of looking at life.
- Rollodons are Trux that are part steamroller and part Centrosaurus. They are known for saying only one word: "roll."
- Splitter (voiced by Richard Ian Cox) is a Sawmetradon. He's part trencher and part Dimetrodon. Splitter likes to cut down trees.
- Blayde (voiced by Kelly Sheridan) is a black and white Dozeratops. She used to be friends with Dozer.
- The Pounder is a Poundersaurolophus. He's part pile driver and part Parasaurolophus. The Pounder communicates by clicking and pounding the ground.
- The Dreadtrux is part Dreadnoughtus and part bucket-wheel excavator. They are huge Dinotrux, much bigger than any others. They sleep for hundreds of years.
- Dyscrapadons are part airplane and part Dimorphodon. They attack other flying creatures.
- Aquadons are part Seafloor Production Tool Bulk Cutter mining vehicle and part Mosasaurus.
- Dragonflopters are part VTOL helicopter and part dragonfly.
- Scrapadactyls are part Tweezer and part Pterodactyl.
- Scraptors are part Tweezer and part Velociraptor.
