Ian James Corlett, born on August 29, 1962, is a talented Canadian voice actor, animator, and author. He is well-known for creating the animated TV shows Being Ian and Yvon of the Yukon. You might also recognize his voice from many popular cartoon characters.
He voiced Mega Man in the Mega Man series and Cheetor in Beast Wars: Transformers. He was also the first English voice for adult Goku in the Dragon Ball Z cartoon from 1996 to 1997.

Early Life and First Steps
Ian James Corlett was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Even when he was in high school, he showed his creative side.
In 1980, during his last year at Burnaby South Secondary School, Ian made a fun video about school life. It featured his friend Alan McConnell getting into all sorts of funny situations. This video was later shared on his YouTube channel.
A Career in Voice Acting
Ian Corlett started his professional career in 1984. Before becoming a voice actor, he worked with music, helping with drum tracks and computer sequences for the band Queensrÿche.

Ian Corlett lives in Vancouver with his wife. They also have a home in Palm Springs, California. They have two children, Philip (born in 1997) and Claire Corlett (born in 1999).
Both of his children have also done voice work, appearing in animated series like Dinosaur Train and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Ian continues to do voice work in both Vancouver and Los Angeles, California.
