ReBoot is a Canadian computer-animated TV series that first aired on YTV from 1994 to 2001. It was made by Vancouver-based companies like Mainframe Entertainment. This show was created by Gavin Blair, Ian Pearson, Phil Mitchell, and John Grace. It was one of the world's very first TV shows made using computer graphics (CGI).
The series tells the exciting stories of a hero named Bob. He is a Guardian who protects a computer system called Mainframe. Bob works with his friends, Enzo and Dot Matrix, to keep Mainframe safe. They face dangers from computer viruses and other threats.
A new version of the show, called ReBoot: The Guardian Code, came out in 2018. It mixed live-action with CGI animation. You could watch it on Netflix and YTV.

What is ReBoot About?
The show takes place inside a computer system known as Mainframe. This world was chosen because of how computer graphics worked back then. It allowed the characters and places to look blocky and mechanical, which fit the computer theme.
Protecting Mainframe from Viruses
The main story follows Bob, a Guardian, and his friends Enzo and Dot Matrix. They work hard to protect Mainframe from evil computer viruses. The two main villains are Megabyte and Hexadecimal.
The User and Game Cubes
A big part of the story happens when the "User" (the person using the computer) loads a game. A purple cube drops down onto a part of the city. Anyone caught inside this cube becomes a character in the game. They have to try and stop the User from winning. If the User wins, that part of Mainframe is destroyed. The people living there turn into slimy creatures called Nulls.
