Borbaad is an Indian Bengali language film that was directed by Raj Chakraborty. It was the first movie for Bonny Sengupta, who is Indraneil Sengupta's nephew, and also for Rittika Sen. They both played the main characters.
The movie's trailer was shown on June 6, 2014. The film itself came out on August 15, 2014. Borbaad is a remake of a Tamil movie called Polladavan.
Story of Borbaad
Joy is a young man who really wants to buy a cool motorbike. He hopes that having a bike will help him impress Nandini. After he finally gets his dream bike, things start to look up for him. He even finds a job soon after.
But then, trouble begins when his precious bike is stolen. Joy soon finds himself in a big argument with Imran. Imran is the younger brother of Akram, who is a powerful figure in the local area. Imran is known for being very quick-tempered.
Akram, Imran's older brother, is a tough leader, but he usually only targets people who are involved in similar activities as him. He doesn't bother older people or innocent bystanders. The story of Borbaad is all about how Joy handles his rivalry with Imran. It shows how he tries to get his bike back and stay safe until the very end.
