Bostall Heath and Woods facts for kids
Bostall Heath and Woods is a large natural area in London, covering about 159.1 hectares. To give you an idea, that's like 159 football fields! This amazing space has both thick woodland (areas with lots of trees) and open heathland (areas with smaller plants like shrubs and grasses).
It's located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, which is a part of London, near a place called Abbey Wood. The area is split into two main parts: Bostall Woods is to the south of a road called the A206 (Bostall Hill), and Bostall Heath is to the north. Most of this green space is looked after by the Royal Borough of Greenwich. However, a small part in the northeast, called the Cooperative Woods, is owned by the Royal Arsenal Co-operative Society.
