Bottom Creek is a small, unincorporated community located in McDowell County, West Virginia, United States. An unincorporated community is a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Bottom Creek is found along U.S. Route 52, a main road, between the towns of Kimball and Vivian. The community gets its name from a stream, also called Bottom Creek, that flows through the area.

Bottom Creek is known as the birthplace of Emanuel Steward, a very famous boxing trainer. He spent his early childhood years living here. Steward trained many world champion boxers during his career, making him a legend in the sport.
