About Bourke Place
Bourke Place is found at 600 Bourke Street in the heart of Melbourne's main business area. It is a modern-style building designed by the architects Godfrey & Spowers.
Building Features
One of the most noticeable things about Bourke Place is its unique sloped roof. This roof helps to hide different types of communication equipment. The outside of the building is covered with 170,000 square metres (1,800,000 sq ft) (about 1.8 million square feet) of special laminated glass.
In 2019, the main entrance area on the ground floor was updated. This work was guided by 3XN Architects and NH Architecture.
