Bowvayne, whose real name is Andrew Knight, is a talented British writer, musician, and composer. He also writes for television and film, acts, and helps rescue animals. He currently lives in America. In 2001, he released his first music album called Molten. Later, in 2016, he finished his most recent album, The Mark of Gold Light, at the famous Abbey Road Studios.
His Books
Bowvayne has written many books, including some very popular ones for children. His novel All Manner of Magic was a huge success. It was the best-selling children's book at the Singapore International Book Fair in 1990.
He also wrote four books for the well-known Australian series, Kangaroo Creek Gang. These books came out in 1992. The titles were Treasure Map, The Liar Bird, Superstickious, and One Joke Too Many.
On TV and Film
Bowvayne has also appeared on television. From 1993 to 1996, he was on the UK Channel 4 show The Big Breakfast. In 1994, he performed stand-up comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe, which is a very famous arts festival.
