Kangaroo Creek Gang was an Australian children's cartoon series. It first aired on the Nine Network in 2002. The show was produced by Southern Star Group. It was based on a popular series of reading books. These books, created from 1981, told stories about Australian bush animals.
Before the TV show, there were "Kangaroo Creek Gang" cassette tapes. These tapes helped kids read along with the books. They were recorded in the early 1980s in Perth, Western Australia. Gregory Ker and other actors voiced the characters. Helen Matthews, a jazz singer, recorded songs for the tapes.
