Bratsi is a district in the Limón province of Costa Rica. It is part of the Talamanca canton. The main city of the Talamanca canton, called Bribri, is located right here in the Bratsi district.

History of Bratsi
Bratsi became an official district on February 19, 1970. This happened through a special government decision.
Geography of Bratsi
Bratsi covers an area of about 180.44 square kilometers. That's roughly the size of 18,000 football fields! The district is located at an elevation of 32 meters above sea level. This means it's quite close to the coast.
