Brazacorta is a small town and municipality in Spain. It is located in the province of Burgos, which is part of the Castile and León region. In 2018, about 55 people lived there.

What is the History of Brazacorta?
Brazacorta has a long history. A long time ago, there was a monastery for nuns here. It was started by a noblewoman named Countess Ermesanda.
Brazacorta was once known as a special "solo town" in the Aranda del Duero area. A powerful count, the Coruña Count, used to choose the town's mayor. When the old system of government in Spain changed, Brazacorta became a regular town. At that time, it had about 112 people living there.
