Brett Jordan Dier (born February 14, 1990) is a talented Canadian actor. He is most famous for playing Michael Cordero Jr. in the TV show Jane the Virgin. He also had important parts in Canadian TV shows like Bomb Girls and The L.A. Complex. Later, he became a main character named "C.B." in the ABC sitcom Schooled.

Early Life and Talents
Brett Dier was born on February 14, 1990, in London, Ontario, Canada. He went to London South Collegiate Institute, where he was really good at the school talent show. He grew up with an older sister and a younger brother.
Brett has many cool talents! He studied improv, which is acting without a script. He also earned a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a martial art. He started playing the piano when he was four years old, using the Suzuki method, and reached a high level in music. He can also play the guitar. Besides music and martial arts, Brett enjoys breakdancing, swimming, and bouldering, which is a type of rock climbing.

Brett Dier started his acting career in 2006. His first role was Matt Peterson in a TV movie called Family in Hiding. In the next few years, he appeared in other TV movies like Seventeen and Missing and The Secrets of Comforting House. In 2008, he played Caden in Every Second Counts and even a different version of Clark Kent in the popular show Smallville. He also had a small part in Fear Itself.
In 2010, Brett had a fun cameo in the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid as a breakdancer. He continued to appear in TV movies such as Made: The Movie and Meteor Storm. He had a recurring role as Hutch in the show Mr. Young. A recurring role means he appeared in several episodes, but not all of them. He also played Will Newmar in the TV movie Mega Cyclone.
