Bridge Street, Cambridge facts for kids
Bridge Street is a very old street in the middle of Cambridge, England. It connects Magdalene Street in the northwest to Sidney Street in the southeast. This street got its name because it used to go over the Great Bridge on the River Cam. However, that part is now called Magdalene Street, named after Magdalene College.
Many important places are found near Bridge Street. To the south, you'll find St John's Street. Close by is St John's College, which is one of the biggest colleges at the University of Cambridge.
