Bridger is located near Montana Highway 86. This road runs along the eastern edge of the community. If you go north and east on this highway, you'll reach Wilsall about 23 miles away. If you head south and west, you'll get to Bozeman in about 16 miles. A stream called Bridger Creek flows south through the eastern part of Bridger. This creek eventually joins the Gallatin River.
