Bridget Catherine Regan (born February 3, 1982) is an American actress. She is well-known for her main roles in TV shows like Legend of the Seeker and The Last Ship. She has also played important characters in popular series such as White Collar, Jane the Virgin, Agent Carter, and The Rookie. Besides TV, Bridget has acted in movies like John Wick.

Early Life and Education
Bridget Catherine Regan was born in Carlsbad, California. She grew up in a family with Irish and German roots. From a young age, Bridget loved acting. She started performing in plays when she was a child. Some of her early roles were in The Wizard of Oz and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
After high school, Bridget went to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She studied drama there and earned her degree in 2004. After finishing college, she moved to New York City to become a professional actress.
Career Highlights
Since 2006, Bridget Regan has appeared in many TV shows and movies. In 2008, she started filming Legend of the Seeker. This TV show was based on the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. Bridget played the main character, Kahlan Amnell. Fans really loved her in this role. Even though she is a natural redhead, she dyed her hair brown for the part.
In 2013, she joined the TV show White Collar. She played Rebecca Lowe, a character who became a love interest for Neal Caffrey. That same year, she also appeared in Beauty & the Beast. She played Alex, the ex-fiancée of a character named Vincent Keller.
Bridget was cast in Jane the Virgin in 2014. She played Rose, a former lawyer who became a criminal mastermind. She also had a small role in the action movie John Wick that year.
From 2015 to 2016, Bridget played Dottie Underwood in the superhero TV series Agent Carter. This show was based on Marvel Comics characters. In 2016, she joined the cast of The Last Ship. She played Sasha Cooper, a diplomat and former Navy Intelligence Officer.
More recently, in 2021, Bridget was cast as Poison Ivy in the TV series Batwoman. She also plays Monica Stevens, a lawyer, in the ABC police series The Rookie.
Personal Life
Bridget Regan is married to Eamon O'Sullivan. He is a writer. They met in New Zealand while she was filming Legend of the Seeker. Bridget and Eamon have two children together.
For several years, from 2009 to 2013, many comic book fans thought Bridget would be a perfect choice to play Wonder Woman.
