History of Bringhurst
Bringhurst has been a community for a long time. Its post office, which helps people send and receive mail, was first set up in 1872. The community was named after a person known as Colonel Bringhurst.

Bringhurst is located in Monroe Township. It is less than a mile south of a bigger community called Flora. A railway line, the Winamac Southern Railway, runs through the area. Also, Indiana State Road 75 goes along the west side of the community, making it easy to travel north and south.
