Brionne Kierra Butler (born January 29, 1999) is an American professional volleyball player. She plays as a middle blocker. Brionne is a key player for the U.S. national team. She also plays for the Brazilian Superliga club Osasco.

Early Life and High School Years
Brionne Butler was born in Louisiana. She grew up in Kendleton, Texas. Her mother, Javonne Brooks, also played volleyball. She played for the University of New Orleans. Brionne's mother holds a high record for career kills in college volleyball.
Brionne went to Boling High School. She was ranked as the second-best recruit in the country for her graduating class. During high school, she was part of the Junior USA national team. She committed to the University of Texas at Austin after her sophomore year.
College Volleyball Career
Brionne started her college career at the University of Texas in 2017. She played as a starting middle blocker for three years. In her senior year (2020), she was named a First Team All-American. This is a top honor for college athletes.
In 2020, Brionne led all college players in total blocks. She helped her team reach the national championship game. They finished as national runner-up in the 2020 NCAA tournament. She was also named to the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team. Brionne helped Texas win the Big 12 Conference title every year she played.
Professional Volleyball Clubs
After college, Brionne began her professional career. She has played for several clubs around the world.
Playing in Indonesia
From 2021 to 2022, Brionne played for Gresik Petrokimia in Indonesia. With this team, she earned a silver medal in the 2022 Indonesian Proliga.
Playing in Italy
From 2022 to 2023, she moved to Italy. She played for Chieri.
Playing in Brazil
Since 2023, Brionne has been playing for Osasco Voleibol Clube in Brazil. This is her current team.
U.S. National Team Achievements
Brionne joined the U.S. national team while still in college. She made her debut at the 2019 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup. At this event, she helped the team win a gold medal.
In May 2022, Brionne was chosen for the 25-player roster. This roster was for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League tournament. She continues to be an important part of the national team.
