Meet the Judges and Presenters
The show first started in 2007. The original presenters were Ant & Dec. The first judges were Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan. This team stayed the same for the first four series.
Changes to the Judging Panel
After Series 4, Piers Morgan left the show. In Series 5, two new judges joined: David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre. However, they only stayed for one series.
In 2012, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon became the new judges. They are still on the show today, along with Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden. Amanda Holden has been a judge since the very beginning, making her the longest-serving judge!
The Spin-Off Show
For many years, there was a sister show called Britain's Got More Talent. Stephen Mulhern hosted this show from Series 1 to Series 13. It was a fun show that gave viewers more behind-the-scenes action. In March 2020, it was announced that Britain's Got More Talent would no longer be made. Sometimes, guest judges also appeared on the main show. They would fill in if a regular judge was sick or couldn't make it.
