Brooke Stacey (born June 26, 1996) is a Canadian ice hockey player. She plays as a forward and is currently with the Montreal Victoire in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). Brooke grew up in Kahnawake, Québec. She is Kanien’kehá:ka, which is also known as Mohawk, a First Nations community.

Brooke Stacey's Hockey Journey
Brooke Stacey has played for several teams during her hockey career. She has shown great skill and determination on the ice.
Playing in Sweden
In 2018, Brooke joined Linköping HC Dam in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). She played two regular season games and scored one goal. Brooke then played in all twelve playoff games. Her team made it to the finals but lost to Luleå HF/MSSK.
Time with the Buffalo Beauts
Brooke signed with the Buffalo Beauts in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) for the 2019–20 season. She had an amazing start, scoring in her first five games. In her first 14 games, she recorded eight goals and eight assists.
Brooke then announced she was pregnant and took a break from hockey. She was invited to the 2020 NWHL All-Star Game. Even though she couldn't play, she took part in the Accuracy Shooting competition. Her best friend, Cailey Hutchison, played in her place.
In December 2020, Brooke re-signed with the Beauts for the next season. She wanted to show new moms that it's possible to play at a high level after having a baby.
Playing for Canada
Brooke Stacey has also represented her country. She played for the Canadian national under-18 team. In 2014, she competed in the IIHF U18 World Championship. Her team won a gold medal, which is a great achievement!

About Brooke's Life
Brooke Stacey is the daughter of Tina McComber and Sean Stacey. She has two brothers, Dylan and Tye, and a younger sister named Savannah.
Outside of hockey, Brooke studied sociology at the University of Maine. She is interested in working in criminal investigation. She especially wants to help with cases involving missing and murdered Indigenous women.
In February 2020, Brooke and her partner, Dylan Smith, shared that they were expecting a baby. Their first child was born in the summer of 2020.
