Brooke Stacey, born on June 26, 1996, is a Canadian ice hockey player. She plays as a forward. Currently, she is a reserve player for the Montreal Victoire team in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). Brooke is from the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) First Nation. She grew up in Kahnawake, which is a First Nations community in southern Québec, located by the St. Lawrence River.

Brooke Stacey's Hockey Journey
Playing in Sweden
Brooke Stacey joined Linköping HC Dam in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) for the 2018–19 playoffs. She was invited by the team's general manager, Kim Martin Hasson. Brooke scored one goal in two regular season games. She then played in all twelve playoff games. Her team reached the finals but lost to Luleå HF/MSSK.
Playing in the NWHL
Stacey later signed with the Buffalo Beauts. This team played in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). She joined them for the 2019–20 NWHL season. Brooke started strong, scoring in each of her first five games. She had eight goals and eight assists in her first 14 games.
Taking a Break and Returning
Brooke announced that she was pregnant during the 2019-2020 season. She stepped away from hockey for the rest of that season. She was invited to the 2020 NWHL All-Star Game. Even though she could not play, she still took part. She helped as a passer in the Accuracy Shooting competition. Her best friend, Cailey Hutchison, took her place in the game.
In December 2020, Brooke shared that she had re-signed with the Beauts. She played for them in the 2020-21 season. Brooke wanted to be a role model for new moms. She showed that it is possible to play at a high level even after having a baby.
International Hockey
Brooke Stacey has also played for her country. She represented Canada at the 2014 IIHF U18 World Championship. Her team won a gold medal at this important tournament.

About Brooke's Life
Brooke Stacey is the daughter of Tina McComber and Sean Stacey. She has two brothers, Dylan and Tye. She also has a younger sister named Savannah.
Outside of hockey, Brooke studied sociology at the University of Maine. She is interested in a career in criminal investigation. She wants to help people and work on important cases.
In February 2020, Brooke and her partner, Dylan Smith, shared exciting news. They were expecting their first child. Their baby was born in the summer of 2020.
