Bruno Ngotty, born on June 10, 1971, is a former professional football player from France. He was a strong defender, known as a centre-back, and played from 1988 until 2008. He even came out of retirement for a short time in 2011.
Bruno played in top football leagues in France, Italy, and England. Starting His Career at Lyon
Ngotty began his professional football career with Olympique Lyonnais in 1988. He played for Lyon until the end of the 1994–95 season. During his time there, he played in 237 league games and scored 13 goals.
Winning a European Cup with Paris Saint-Germain
In 1995, Bruno Ngotty moved to Paris Saint-Germain. He became a hero for the club when he scored the winning goal against Rapid Wien in the 1996 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final. This victory gave Paris Saint-Germain their only trophy in that competition. The next year, he was part of the team that reached the final again, but they lost to Barcelona.
Playing in Italy with AC Milan
After his success in France, Ngotty joined Italian club AC Milan in 1998. He helped AC Milan win the Serie A title in 1999, which is Italy's top football league. He played 25 league games for the club and even played alongside legendary defender Paolo Maldini. In 1999, he was loaned to Venezia and played 16 matches there.
Returning to France with Marseille
