Bryan Patrick Bracey was born on August 5, 1978. He is an American-Irish former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at three different schools. These were the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, Malcolm X College, and the University of Oregon.
In 2001, Bryan was one of the top players in the Pac-10 conference. He was second in points per game. He was also chosen for the All-Pac-10 first team. Later that year, the San Antonio Spurs picked him in the 2001 NBA draft. He was the 58th and final player chosen.

Early Life and College Basketball
Bryan Bracey was born in Chicago, Illinois. He finished high school in 1996 at Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Illinois. Bryan also has citizenship in Ireland.
College Journey
After high school, Bryan started playing basketball at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. He played one game there. Later, he went to Malcolm X College in Chicago. In 1999, he moved to the University of Oregon.
Oregon Ducks Success
At the University of Oregon, Bryan became a key player for the Oregon Ducks. In 2001, he scored 18.6 points per game, which was second-highest in the Pac-10. He also led the Ducks with 7.1 rebounds per game. Because of his great play, he was named to the All-Pac-10 first team. In January 2001, he was even named Pac-10 Conference Player of the Week. This happened after he averaged 25.5 points and 9 rebounds in two games.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Bryan Bracey was drafted into the 2001 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. He was the 58th and last player picked in that draft. However, he did not play any games for the Spurs or any other NBA team.
Starting in the NBA Development League
Bryan began his professional career with the Fayetteville Patriots. This team was part of the NBA Development League. He played only one game with them.
Playing Overseas
In November 2001, Bryan signed with Bnei Herzliya in the Israeli Basketball Super League. He helped the team improve after a tough start. He left Israel in April 2002.
After Israel, Bryan played for the Italian team Air Avellino for 10 games. Then, he played for Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel until the summer of 2003. His career continued with various teams around the world until 2015.
