Bryant is a city in Saline County, Arkansas, United States. It is a suburb of Little Rock. In 2010, about 16,688 people lived there. By 2020, the population grew to 20,663. Bryant is part of the Central Arkansas region.

History of Bryant
European settlers first came to the area around Hurricane Creek in the early 1800s. A small fight happened here during the American Civil War.
In the 1870s, a railroad was built through Bryant. This helped the town grow and develop. However, the town faced tough times in the early 1900s. This included the period known as the Great Depression, when many people lost their jobs.
Things started to get better during World War II. There was a high demand for a mineral called bauxite, which is found in the area. This helped Bryant's economy grow again.

Bryant is located in Saline County. The United States Census Bureau says the city covers about 9.1 square miles (23.6 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. Only a very small part, about 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometers), is water.
