Bryant is a small village located in Fulton County, Illinois, in the United States. In 2020, about 168 people lived there. This was a decrease from 255 people counted in the year 2000. Sadly, a strong tornado hit the village on April 4, 2023. This tornado was classified as an EF-3, meaning it caused significant damage.
Where is Bryant?
Bryant is found in the east-central part of Fulton County. A main road, Illinois Route 100, goes right through the village. This road connects Bryant to other towns nearby.
If you travel northeast on Route 100, you will reach Canton in about 8 miles (13 km). If you go southwest for about 6 miles (10 km), you will arrive in Lewistown. Lewistown is important because it is the county seat, which means it's where the main government offices for Fulton County are located.
The village of Bryant is quite small. It covers a total area of about 0.23 square miles (0.64 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water inside the village limits.
