Bucay is a town in Ecuador. It is also known as General Antonio Elizalde. This town is located on the eastern side of the Guayas province. It is very close to the Chimborazo province.

The General Antonio Elizalde Canton, which includes Bucay, had a population of 11,810 people in 2022. This canton is quite new. It was officially created in 1995. This makes it one of the newer cantons in the Guayas province.
