Chimborazo is a beautiful province in Ecuador, a country in South America. Its capital city is Riobamba. This province is famous for being home to Ecuador's highest mountain, Chimborazo, which stands tall at 6,267 meters (about 20,561 feet)!
Chimborazo is also where you can find part of the amazing Sangay National Park. This park is a special place full of incredible nature and wildlife. The province was officially established a long time ago, on June 25, 1826.

Famous Mount Chimborazo
