Right next to the school, a general store was built. This store was damaged by a fire in 2007. But it was rebuilt and opened again in 2008.
The Buckhall Church was built around 1905. It is now known as Buckhall United Methodist Church. It stands near the Prince William Parkway. The church has been expanded over the years, with new parts added in 1988 and 2007. These additions were made while keeping the original, older church building safe.
