Buckwha Creek facts for kids
Buckwha Creek is a stream about 12.6-mile-long (20.3 km) (that's about 20 kilometers). It's a tributary, which means it's a smaller stream that flows into a larger one. Buckwha Creek flows into Aquashicola Creek. You can find it in the beautiful Poconos region of eastern Pennsylvania in the United States.

Where Does Buckwha Creek Begin?
Buckwha Creek starts in a swampy area. This swamp is located southwest of a town called Saylorsburg. From there, the creek flows towards the southwest. It runs along the northwest side of a place known as Chestnut Ridge.
Princess Lake
About five miles (or eight kilometers) after it starts, the creek is blocked by a dam. This dam creates a lake called Princess Lake. This lake is about a mile (or 1.6 kilometers) upstream from the town of Kunkletown.
Buckwha Creek's Journey
The creek continues its journey by cutting south through Chestnut Ridge. It passes through a narrow spot called Little Gap. After flowing through Little Gap, Buckwha Creek meets up with Aquashicola Creek. This meeting point is about 1.2 miles (1.9 km) (or 1.9 kilometers) downstream from Little Gap.
