Bukka facts for kids
Bukka (also known as Bukka Raya I) was an important emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire. He ruled from 1356 to 1377 CE. Bukka belonged to the Sangama Dynasty, which was the first ruling family of the Vijayanagara Empire.
Bukka was known for supporting arts and learning. He helped many talented people, including the Telugu poet Nachana Soma. During his time, many important books and writings were created.
