Burnby Hall Gardens, also known as Stewart's Burnby Hall Gardens and Museum, is a wonderful place located near the town of Pocklington in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. These gardens are very special because they are home to the United Kingdom's national collection of hardy water lilies. In fact, it's the largest collection of these beautiful flowers growing naturally in all of Europe! The gardens cover about 8 acres and feature two lovely lakes filled with water lilies. This amazing place was given to Pocklington by a man named Major Percy Marlborough Stewart.
