Caltojar is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the province of Soria. This area is part of Castile and León, which is one of Spain's autonomous communities. In 2004, about 111 people lived there. By 2018, the population was 57.
The municipality of Caltojar includes two smaller villages. These are Bordecorex and Casillas de Berlanga.

Saint Michael's Church
One of the most important buildings is Saint Michael's church. It was built a very long time ago, in the 12th century. This means it is over 800 years old! The church has a beautiful facade, which is the front part of the building.
La Veruela Atalaya
Caltojar also has an old watchtower called La Veruela Atalaya. Watchtowers were used in the past to look out for enemies. They helped protect the area.
